Our 4th Grade class is taking part in Write On 2010. Five schools from around the country are all writing part of a story together. We were the third of the five schools to add our contribution. You can check out the story here. Thanks to Sydney for the great illustration, and to all the students for their great story ideas.

Origami Crane 02/17/2010

I had a request to post this on the front page, so here it is. There are instructions for how to make a paper crane. It is not easy, so you might need an adult to help, but if you want to try it you can. You must start with a square of paper, not a rectangle. Click here to make an origami crane.

This special announcement is exclusive to readers of www.mrwylie.com. Tomorrow there will be a new seating arrangement in class. The arrival of our new SmartBoard needs a new seating arrangement, so tomorrow you could find that your desk is moved from where it once was. I can't promise that it will stay this way, or even that you will stay next to the person you are sat next to, but for now, this is the first step towards changing our classroom layout.
