About Mr. Wylie
My name is Jonathan Wylie, and I am a teacher who loves to explore the use of technology in the classroom. I've been a teacher for over ten years now, and if there is one thing I have noticed in that time, it's that children learn best when they are having fun.
By using free educational games online, teachers can bring a new dimension to their lessons and achieve a level of engagement that is hard to match with other mediums.
So, as the years went by, I tried to keep track of the websites I used most. I bookmarked them, shared them with colleagues, and tried to spread the word the best I could.
However, I quickly learned the best way to store all these games in one place, and create a resource that could be used by others, was to create a website dedicated to doing just that. This is that website!
The sites that I link to on www.mrwylie.com are all tried and trusted sites that I have used, or wanted to use, at some point in my classroom. They are also among the best quality sites around, and are the ones that my students want to come back to time and time again.
